Why It Started

This isn’t something we just decided to try one day. It started with a moment where I thought: Is this it? After bad news at the hospital, it felt like I’d already peaked — while I just turned thirty. And yet, I still hadn’t really gone wild camping — properly.

What We Realized

But Norway was expensive. And holidays are costly — in both time and money. So I felt stuck with what felt safe: sun, sea, and a buffet. Until one day I thought: fuck it! We grabbed our credit card, raided Decathlon, and just went. Two weeks. Wild camping in our Nissan Navara.

What Changed

And somewhere between the mountains and the silence, it started. Our love for simplicity, freedom and off-grid living. I remember that I said back then: there are people who fully custom built their pickup. They aren’t in their right mind, right? I mean… that’s what they’d call a terrible investment. But now? Years later — look at this!

What We Live By

Our fully equipped 4×4 camper pickup with a demountable unit and rooftop tent, where we travel and explore the world together — with a toddler and a dog in the back.

Slow, Intentional — and just a little bit more extreme each time.
